How to Wear a Bikini in the City

Bella Hadid has pulled off some of the boldest lingerie dressing we’ve seen, from down-to-there plunging corsetry to lace-up leggings and balconette jumpers.

Recently, she took it to the next level when she turned out wearing a barely-there bandeau top in Paris. Whether it was a strapless bra or a bathing suit is unknown—perhaps it was part of the burgeoning “swimtimates” trend, which combines both—but one thing is for certain: The overall effect was undeniably hot.

This isn’t the first time Hadid has left the house in swimwear: She took a string bikini out for a spin last spring, layering it underneath a cropped sweatshirt.

This time, Hadid left less to the imagination, styling the look with a snakeskin motorcycle jacket draped around her shoulders, a move that suggested it could slip off at moment’s notice. She made the look appropriate for day by doubling down on denim with light-wash skinny jeans and matching Schutz sandals. Gold hoop earrings and tinted sunglasses rounded out the look with a sexy-cool ’90s slant.
